Isaiah 59:17-19

New American Standard Bible

¹⁷ He put on ^(A)righteousness like a breastplate,
And a ^(B)helmet of salvation on His head;
And He put on ^(C)garments of vengeance for clothing
And wrapped Himself with ^(D)zeal as a cloak.
^18 (E)According to their deeds, ^[a]so will He repay:
Wrath to His adversaries, ^[b]retribution to His enemies;
To the coastlands He will ^[c]deal ^[d]retribution.
¹⁹ So they will fear the name of the Lord from the ^(F)west
And His glory from the ^(G)rising of the sun,
For He will ^(H)come like a ^[e]rushing stream
Which the wind of the Lord drives.
